Cehave Landbouwbelang is a cooperative with approximately 5,500 Dutch members. Its core national and international business is the production and marketing of superior quality animal feed (and animal feed ingredients).

In the Netherlands Cehave Landbouwbelang also supplies business requisites to the crop and livestock sectors, and collects grain. The group has production plants in the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Hungary and China, and exports premixes, nutritional specialties and concentrates throughout the world. With a workforce of approximately 2,000 people Cehave Landbouwbelang achieves a turnover of almost EUR 1 billion per annum. As such, it is one of the larger, leading animal feed businesses in Europe. Cehave focuses on innovation in animal feed and profitable growth in The Netherlands and elsewhere.

The development of knowledge plays an important role in this respect. Based on years of experience, a practically oriented approach and consistent investments in research and development (R&D), Cehave has secured a leading position in respect of knowledge. This serves as an important basis for the business and as motivation to create better products, to develop more efficient production processes and to provide more focussed advice to livestock farmers. Those subjects in respect of which Cehave Landbouwbelang's 'knowledge basis' is explicitly evident are animal health, innovation, agrotechnical expertise, the knowledge and experience of its business consultants, its production process ingenuity and its patents for products and processes.
